I went to the bank to pay some money into my account today. When I walked up to the bank counter to do my things, the woman standing there suddenly said:
"Hello, do you remember me?"
This is the last thing I'm capable of after a long day at work. So, I looked at her and saw nothing even remotely familiar. My face must have shown it, because she continued:
"I'm David's wife. I was at your wedding."
I just replied:
"Well, but not at my divorce."
Honestly, I couldn't come up with anything to say in that situation. That whole thing took place 12 1/2 years ago and we had like 200+ people constantly walking in and out at the wedding party. 4 of them were actually my friends and family, the rest just friends and people my African ex-husband knew. I really didn't care about any of them back then and I'm surely not interested in their lives today.
It feels like a completely different life to me now and I surely don't want to remember much of it. Honestly.
Still I'm surprised how people cross your path from time to time and remember you even after all those years. People you haven't met more than 3 times in your entire life and your conversation consisted of 3 sentences including hello and bye.
So, I told her I remember very, very darkly. Just to be polite.
Like I care.

It's here! Finally! I can't stop smiling. *____________________*
I ran to the mall and bought something to play with over the weekend.
Final Fantasy X
Kya - Dark Lineage
Project Zero
And a rgb-scart cable.
So, the clock is running until Monday when I have to give it away - temporarily.

P.S. That PS2 is so SMALL! Hardly bigger than the manual book that came with it.

Well, so I got around 50 € for the stuff I sold on ebay and hood. Which was my little goal. Still a bit disappointing for some things like the poster, but at least I didn't have to throw away the vhs tapes. (Surprisingly a collector even bought my 2 Ghibli movies from Hongkong - plain Cantonese and no subtitles, har har.)
Anyway, I just raided things on ebay, which includes:
- Beyond good & evil
- The legend of Kay
- Kingdom hearts
- Ape escape 2
So, guess what I'll be getting for Christmas this year. ^_^ (*hint* It will arrive at my home tomorrow, so I've been dancing madly since yesterday.)
Mom and her b/f will get some concert tickets from me and my dad some money (he is saving on something). Well, and that's already my whole family. Makes buying presents quite easy.
I also got a little surprise yesterday. It was Saint Nikolas Day, on which German children get little presents. They have to give their shoes a shine on the night before and in the morning they are filled with (mostly) sweets, nuts, oranges and (very) small presents. I always get something from my mom, despite my age. ^_^
Anyway, when I came home yesterday I found an email from a website/community I'm part of. It's a site where you can rate movies. The project had opened earlier this year and I've been quite busy rating movies. So they "boss" of that project told me that I'll get a little St. Nikolaus prestent for my participation. Imagine my surprise! You know, I've never won something... Can't wait to find out what it is. ^_^

Just bought the first Star Trek TNG season on dvd the other week.
They were supposed to be my entertainment on Christmas when I'll get the new dvd player. But I just can't stop watching. ;_;
Dammit! I'm a much worse trekkie than I though.
Seriously!
